My main recommendation for wardrobe is to choose pieces that you personally love and feel comfortable in. Rather than focusing on everyone matching perfectly, I encourage families to prioritize clothing that reflects their individual style. When people feel comfortable and confident in what they’re wearing, it naturally translates into the photographs.

For the Headshot Essentials Session you can add in an extra layer or accessory for some shots so please pack one or two of the following if you would like more variety in your session. Items: Sweater, Jacket, Tie, Scarf, Necklace.
For The Brand Collection Session you can bring up to 3 outfits. Consider something more formal, more casual, and one in between!
Make sure to try on the outfits at least a week before the session so you have time to adjust anything if you need.

Family Sessions
I often encourage clients to consider photographing in their home. Home is typically where families feel most comfortable, and it naturally provides familiar spaces and activities that help everyone relax and interact during the session. During our consultation call, we can talk through how your family spends time together and plan a few simple moments to document.
Outdoor sessions are also a wonderful option. If we choose to photograph outside, we will select a location that your family already enjoys visiting so the experience feels natural and relaxed. We may also plan a few activities to bring along to help create movement and connection during the session.
Newborn Sessions
All newborn sessions are done on-location at client’s home.
Headshot + Branding Sessions
Clients can select if they would like to meet either at at their place of work, home, or outdoor location.

I would describe my style as editorial in the sense that I approach each session as a visual story of your family. Much like a short documentary film, the images unfold in layers—beginning with wider shots that provide a sense of place and context, and gradually moving into more intimate moments that highlight the interactions between the people and the space they inhabit.
I’m also intentional about noticing the moments in between—those quiet pauses where it may seem like nothing is happening. Often, it’s in these transitions between activities, conversations, and connection that the most honest and meaningful moments appear. I find those in-between moments especially powerful and love capturing them.
-
My goal is for the session to feel fun and relaxed for your children. There’s no pressure for them to “behave” or perform—the most meaningful images usually happen when kids are simply being themselves.
If at any point someone needs a break, we can pause or switch things up. As a parent myself and someone who has photographed many families, I’m very comfortable going with the flow, so please don’t feel any pressure at all.

My work is rooted in documentary storytelling, so I do not offer traditional posed family portraits. Instead, I focus on capturing the natural interactions and rhythms of your family. During our consultation call and throughout the session, I’ll guide the experience in a way that allows authentic moments to unfold naturally.
