Time of Day Matters

I can’t encourage you enough to book early so that you can secure one of the session times near sunrise or sunset. If you’re not planning on doing the session at your home (which can be done at any time of day) and prefer an outdoor location, shooting within 2 hours of sunrise or sunset really provides the most beautiful light. It’s not easy to get folks ready to go super early or drag them out to the park after dinner - trust me, I have 2 kids and know the feeling. But if you were do to it once or twice a year … maybe to catch an early flight or hitting the road early for a holiday roadtrip then consider doing it for your session!

Here’s a sample of a sunrise session at Harms Woods, Glenview.
